Cheap Trick Guitar Picks

Category: Cheap Trick | 4 Comments

Cheap Trick guitar picks from Rick Nielson, Robin Zander, and Tom Petersson. The picks shown here are from the various 80s, 90s and 2000s tours, including the Special One, Music For Hangovers, and Rockford tours. There’s also a few Pyramid Strings and checkerboard picks. There are newer Rick Nielson picks from the 2009 Las Vegas shows Cheap Trick did where they covered the Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s album. Now Cheap Trick is back in Vegas for their 2010 Sgt. Peppers shows. I just saw them and caught a bunch of picks – they were throwing out the circle R 2010 picks at the show. At the last 6 2010 Vegas Sgt. Peppers shows, Rick threw out new Paris picks – I have 4 so far! How many Cheap Trick picks do you have?

Check out Trick’s Picks to see a more complete set of Cheap Trick picks. I really want those yellow Rockford picks with the cartoon faces, as well as all the Cheap Trick guitar picks I have yet to acquire. It was Rick Nielson throwing tons of guitar picks at the audience that got me totally obsessed with guitar picks. Thanks Rick!

    Christine,
Is it the white pick I have on this page – the one where Rick’s wearing a hat (without sunglasses) in the photo? That one is from the mid-80s, and it was pretty common back then, but it’s harder to find now. You could probably get $10 for it on Ebay.
